What ages do you teach?
There is no "perfect" age to start. The right time is whenever you feel that spark of curiosity! Minimum age really depends on the individual student, but I don't believe musical ability has anything to do with intellect; it’s about connection. Some of the most talented musicians began as children, while others discovered their talent and passion much later in life. Music is a fundamental human language, which means we are all capable of learning it at any stage. My teaching is built on the belief that the most important element is keeping the process fun and pleasurable. I always encourage my students to enjoy the journey of discovery as much, if not more, than the final goal. So don't wait any longer and book your first piano lesson.
Do I need my own piano?
While having a piano or a full-sized weighted keyboard at home is essential for practice, Don't hesitate to ask me for advice. I have helped students to find the perfect instrument for their needs and budget.
Do you prepare students for exams?
Yes, I provide expert preparation for ABRSM grades from level 1 through to level 8, including performance diplomas and music theory certifications as well as the 5 ABRSM jazz grades. I have also prepared numbers of students for their auditions to Music University and Conservatoire.Â
Do you tailor your teaching to every student?
Absolutely. Every student is unique, and I believe your musical journey should be as well. Whether you are a total beginner, a student returning to the piano, or someone looking to dive into composition and production, I adapt my teaching methods to suit your specific interests, learning style, and pace. Do you teach music composition or help with music production in DAWs like FL Studio and Cubase?
Absolutely! Beyond traditional piano technique, I love helping students explore the creative side of music. Whether you are interested in composing your own pieces, learning cinematic sound design, or want to get comfortable producing in DAWs like FL Studio or Cubase, I’m here to guide you. My background in professional production means we can dive into everything from the fundamentals of arrangement to the technical nuances of mixing and sound design. The only requirement is that you have a laptop capable of running the DAW, and from there, it’s incredibly rewarding to help you take your musical ideas and turn them into finished, high-impact compositions.
How long are your piano lessons, and how often should I attend?
I offer 30, 45, and 60-minute sessions, customized to fit your personal goals and lifestyle. I exclusively teach students who can commit to weekly lessons because consistency is truly the heartbeat of musical growth, it provides the stability and momentum needed to really flourish. I have a genuine passion for working with students who are ready to embrace the journey and dedicate themselves to their craft. By setting aside that regular, protected space for ourselves each week, we build a wonderful rhythm that helps you reach your full potential and enjoy the process every step of the way.
